gENERAL iNFORMATIONExpectations + Grade Bumps:
This is new for all of us. Every teacher is different and will hold his or her class to different expectations. These are my expectations. For my CPUSH students, your grades for 3rd quarter are most likely your final grades. Enrichment assignments and learning opportunities will be provided below, and instructions on how to view, complete, and turn in online material can be found below as well. None of this is mandatory. The enrichment assignments will have little impact toward your overall grades, with exception to the make-up project, the Covid-19 Video Project, which closes Thursday April 30th. The enrichment assignments, once turned in, will be graded on a credit/no-credit basis. If a student turns in an assignment that does not meet expectations, opportunities to re-do for credit will be provided. Communication: I am here to help. I want to help. Please feel free to reach out to me via email: David.Cummings@cnusd.k12.ca.us or through Remind 101:Go to the Home Page on https://www.rooseveltcpush.com/ to sign up for the class Remind 101. If a simlar movie were to be made today that covers life from 1994 to 2020, what are the major historical events that would DEFINITELY BE SCENES in today's re-make of Forrest Gump? A. Write down all the historical moments that Gump lives through, and rank the 10 most important historical moments in the movie. B. Then, I want you to research and think about the most important historical moments from 1994 to 2020 would be, and rank the 10 most important moments in U.S. History.
