When: Saturday August 23rd 7:30 am Where: Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Eastvale CA Purpose: With CIF-SS Cross-Country season officially beginning August 18th, please consider signing your team up for a FAST 1.5 mile course set to take place on a hopefully cool Saturday morning. Time Schedule Gates open at 6:00 am. Teams are encouraged to set up their canopies/tents on the in field of the track. 7:30 am F/S Girls Open 1.5 mile race. 7:50 am F/S Boys Open 1.5 mile race 8:10 am JV Girls Open 1.5 mile race. 8:30 am JV Boys Open 1.5 mile race. 9:00 am Varsity Girls 5-person Relay. 9:40 am Varsity Boys 5-person Relay. |
course descriptionThe 1.5 mile course will take place solely on Eleanor Roosevelt High School Campus. The starting line is the high school track's finish line, athletes will run out of the track onto the service road, and will follow the course into the student parking lot.
Running past our campus' state of the art STEM Academy, athletes will enter the high school's main campus, running partially through the quad, PE numbers and racquet ball courts. Athletes will then run past the swimming pool & tennis courts, crossing in front of the high school track/stadium. Athletes will be nearing the finish line as they run up the service road in between River Heights Intermediate School and ERHS. Athletes will enter the track/stadium on the North West Corner and will run clockwise around the track in lane one before either finishing the race or handing off to the next teammate. |

Restrooms: Restrooms are located on both sides of the Home & Visitor side stadium
First Aid: Athletic Trainer and assistants will be on site. Other: Coaches consider bringing plenty of water and a canopy, as August in the Inland Empire is quite hot. T-Shirts Multicolor championship T-shirts will be on sale for $20. Cash please. Team Set-up Please be sure your camp does not interfere with the course, the timing area, or the exchange zones. We are asking all the teams to set-up their team tent areas on the grass soccer fields located outside of the stadium, near both the softball and baseball fields.
