Option # 1: Use Gates 1A and 1B (the two openings from the Time-Line Road to the start fields. This excess is very convenient if the teams are set up in the Terrace, Balloon or finish line grass areas.
Runners should not time themselves as they cross the finish line. By reaching across their bodies to stop the watch, they block the chip in the bib from being read by the antenna mats and also block their bib from the cameras resulting in no official time for the race. They should stop their watches after they cross the mats.
c. The first 100 places in each race earn a medal that is handed out at the end of the chute. It’s the runner’s responsibility to protect their finishing place by not stopping as they cross the finish mats.
d. Team patches (7 patches per team) to the top 6 teams in each race.
e. Safety pins need to stay on their jerseys and not dropped on the ground. Safety issue for the people that use these fields.

Please begin verifying the planned attendance to the meet with your athletes, that is, who will not be competing. Logistically, we prepare bibs with single use chips individually assigned to each participant. When 3 or 4 runners don't come from each school, it may not seem like a major problem. However, multiply that number by 70 teams and it becomes a significant cost to the event.
** NEW PRE-Paid Parking**
Something new has been added for spectators. We have prepaid parking. Please direct your parents to our meet information webpage.
https://www.inlandempirechallenge.com/index.html
