I pride myself in providing a fair, engaging, interactive course that challenges my students to think critically and examine history through multiple perspectives.

I earned my Teaching Credential from
Cal State Fullerton's School of Education, and I recently graduated from the MCAA program at Concordia University Irvine (Dec. 2020), and have a Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

In 2012, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the California State University San Marcos in the field of History.  I transferred to CSUSM from Fullerton Community College. I also graduated in 2008 from Esperanza High School.

Summer 2023

I fell pretty hard and shattered my phone, and hurt my right hand.
Took 33 athletes up to Mammoth for four nights in July.
I went deep sea fishing in Dana Point, and then went to the Saw Dust Festival in Laguna.
My wife is painting our kitchen cabinets dark green, we're going to Big Bear for a night to celebrate my sister's birthday.
My goal is to run to and from work more this year, and I'm planning on doing a marathon in December, although I don't know which one yet. Either Death Valley Trail race or the Hoover Dam marathon. We'll see. I have a few races I'm jumping in this month and next.

All summer I have been traveling, hanging with my wife and two kids. I've run a bunch of miles this summer, woke up early to run and coach and beat the heat. I've played some league of legends this summer, team fight tactics and Fortnite as well. I've watched a lot of angels baseball, played some fantasy baseball, my wife and I just started watching this season's Big Brother show, and we finished Ted Lasso and the most recent season of the TV Show I think you should leave.
