There were 8 HW assignments that were given for this unit, I need somebody, and that somebody is Marcus to step forward.

Marcus: Your job is simple, after I am done taking roll, you will facilitate the classroom discussion.

Seeing as how this page is titled "Homework Day", you will all work together on your homework, coming up with the correct answers. You should all try to write in complete sentences, because homework that doesn't look filled in, or homework that is turned in and isn't your best work, will be marked down. I expect this to run smoothly and you should spend about 10 minutes on each of the eight homework assignments. Time is of the essence. No cell phones, no listening to music.

How this lesson should go, and what it should look like:

Assistant: Marcus, it can get lonely up there. Assign an assistant to help you write things down or to delegate duties to. We need this Homework day to be efficient.

Timer: Marcus assign someone to keep track of the time. 10 minutes per assignment.

Researcher: Marcus, assign 2 students to be the researchers, their job is to look up answers to questions the class is having trouble with. They may use their notes, or the text book.

Now what it should look like:
"What did you get for question one, left side of the classroom?" - Answer is provided. A student raises her hand to respond after a quick deliberation. Do we all agree? If there is one person who disagrees, we hear them out. I want you all to be writing in the correct answers, or if it's a judgement call, such as the six degrees of separation assignment, at least hear what others have to say about the location of the 4 major events that you had to fill in, in between 1 and 6.
