Student 1: December 7, 1941 will forever be known as "the day that will live in infamy."
This was the day that the United States was attacked by Japan. Japanese  planes and
submarines destroyed a vital American naval base, Pearl Harbor. The next day,
the United States declared war on Japan. Even today we still wonder why was Pearl Harbor
attacked by the Japanese?
Japan attacked the United States because of existing American sentiment, the embargo
of resources, and the fear of not becoming a world power. (30/30)
